Found another song.
Jul. 19th, 2004 07:59 pmIt's by 'The Rasmus' called 'In the shadows'.
It's got a good beat and you can dance to it. Sticking it up on the public music folder.
Hmm,
Not been putting much in here lately, been kinda busy being outside and trying to learn to play the electric violin. (Which is actually going pretty damn good, if I say so myself. Will definitely be ready for music class when we go back to normal classes.)
Doing better on the Arabic stuff too. Mandarin I'm doin' fine on but that's not exactly surprise. Askani...is harder.
Been thinking about history a lot.
GrandDad told me we should always know where we come from, so that we know who we are now because of it. Got a LOT of family history drilled into me when I was over there and even then I only touched half of it. It's weird havin' family that goes back that far, after years of thinkin' I was alone.
Might see if Gramps can visit sometime, think it'd be cool for him to see this place. Course, he'd be absolutely horrified at my Mandarin, but then he always is. Keeps asking me whether I'm sure my parents didn't drop me on my head as a baby. Funny man, is Gramps.
