I love everyone.

Everyone doesn't love me.

That being said -- I have no real comment. I'm myself at almost all times. Sure, I'm highly inappropriate, and I should probably walk around with a disclaimer, but kids don't bother me. They're amusing, with their emotions and acne.

I agree. It's uncool. It's awkward though, at least for me being a non-teachery type but older and stuff. ugh. I don't feel older.

Many of them have already been shut out before they came here and ostracized. Doing the same doesn't help. I think doing more activities with them and trying to talk to them on their level might be good. A lot of things have happened at once recently and tensions are high. A way to diffuse the tension would be nice...like perhaps some sort of event everyone can participate in?

I mean...I'm not a teacher, but I can understand what they're going through. It makes them not want to trust us when something goes wrong.

True, true. What amuses me is I'm pretty sure they're gonna make a lot of the same mistakes we did - only probably in new and horrible ways.

of course they are.

I guess the thing is, like...we took classes together and stuff and they gotta hide who they are at school. they train together, but....being mutants is the only thing that links them right now

At least it's not gonna be called a field trip. We're training them, aren't we? Maybe some kind of joint field exercise.

Show them what we can do with their help. It's a bit hard world wide right now but there's places a few well placed humanitarian missions couldn't hurt.

I feel there should be a pinata. Pinatas bring everyone together. Kids get candy, adults get candy...what a beautiful, bonding moment.

He may be biased. Especially after I've spent several hours on a plane.

I heard some murmurs about study groups and such. Right now it looks like they're doing fine - it's their connection to us adults that's the problem. We're too used to not having kids about.

Seriousky though, dry shampoo is easily the best invention. Ever.

I don't know....it seems to me that some of them are a little too new to this to be going off on a humanitarian mission especially with the current state of the world.

But a joint exercise might be good to start off with, something where we can show them that we do trust them and vice versa.

Or even just, getting to know them better. Talking with them one on one, making a friend.
