No Fate

I am having a Terminator marathon while sitting in my underwear and like the honey badger, not giving a shit.

I also have a bucket of KFC, a metric assload of caffeinated beverages and if I'm feeling particularly feisty, I may even play some XBox360 live and curse out some lame trolls just for fun.

I leave you with some sh*t I found on youtube.

But then I'd have to take points away from like the Snow Valley house and I don't think that like Amanda and der Framde and Random Smartass Nerd should suffer because you've totally embraced some seriously questionable TV show choices. Like that's just not fair to them. I'd be all "no cookies for you" but, um, I don't bring cookies to you guys. So like I have no threats for point deductions and shit.

It would also be moot since I have a box of the cookies from the tiny cookie mercenaries, and I am likely to keep buying them. People in my office enjoy them.

I am sorry, der Framde?

Typo! der Fremde, with an E. It means "the stranger." Some dude who works with you who's German? And promised to trade me German recipes if I send him German food I make? And, um, I think doesn't believe in razors because's he's all super scruffy in his icons. I just know he works with you but not his name.

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2012-02-11 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! That is why I was confused. I was not sure if you meant fremde or fram de which does mean something in some other languages - like Swedish.

I think you mean David North, no?

[identity profile] x-mandelbrot.livejournal.com 2012-02-11 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe? Do you have any other scruffy German dudes who work with you? I know Random Smartass Nerd is so not scruffy. And maybe not German at all. But I dunno everyone that works with you.

At the moment, there are only three men who work in the office. While Doug is occasionally scruffy, it is not typically one of his attributes on a day to day basis.

I have drawn you a diagram to identify the men in the office based on their ability to speak German like a native and the state of their facial hair.

* I am assuming Remy does not speak German because if he does it makes this diagram much less useful.

Ooooh diagrams! I like diagrams. Waaaay better way to stick in my head. So RSN is like occasionally scruffy and can speak German, der Fremde is always scruffy and actually German and Remy person is always scruffy and, um, assumed to not speak German? Got it.

Mwahaha, now I know his name! Which, uh, means nothing because it's not like I can exploit that for whatever. But I will mwahahaha because I can.

Mwahahaha.

Yes, exactly.

Remy may speak German, but I do not believe (I may be wrong) he speaks it like a native, where as David and Doug do, David by virtue of being German and Doug because he is special.

Do I need to rename Doug the Random Special Snowflake Smartass Nerd? 'Cause, dude, that's fucking long and RSSSN just is a shitty acronym.

Hate to burst your bubble (and wreck your nifty diagram), but Remy does speak German. With a native accent. Definitely better than mine, that's for sure.
