I am having a Terminator marathon while sitting in my underwear and like the honey badger, not giving a shit.

I also have a bucket of KFC, a metric assload of caffeinated beverages and if I'm feeling particularly feisty, I may even play some XBox360 live and curse out some lame trolls just for fun.

In my defense, my questionable taste in media is a direct result of my questionable career choices, especially my educational sabbatical to New Orleans.

If your Tuesdays were as typically frustrating as mine, you might want to spend an hour with ridiculous programming as well. It does not take itself seriously, it it inescapably everywhere, and it means that I have something to discuss with mycousin at least two of my contacts, although admittedly one of them does drag shows at Mardi Gras so he can be excused. Perhaps.

That totally doesn't make it better. Like at all. Like two episodes ago they totally told people that assault was OK because you could get revenge by singing and dancing when you had proof of like an actual, vindictive, totally fucked up and way legit crime. Seriously? Fuck that show. Go DVR something else ridiculous or like watch a movie or something. There are like waaaaaay better options.

That is the least of the problems the show has, and regardless, I am old enough to ignore whatever messages a television show may or may not be suggesting. However, I would argue that the real message there is that blackmail is a less troublesome and expensive method of controlling someone than going through the legal system which does have a habit of favoring the children of lawyers over young men and women who belong to minority groups.

Regardless of all of that, I do not take advice on my media habits from seventeen year olds.

At the moment, there are only three men who work in the office. While Doug is occasionally scruffy, it is not typically one of his attributes on a day to day basis.

I have drawn you a diagram to identify the men in the office based on their ability to speak German like a native and the state of their facial hair.



* I am assuming Remy does not speak German because if he does it makes this diagram much less useful.

Remy may speak German, but I do not believe (I may be wrong) he speaks it like a native, where as David and Doug do, David by virtue of being German and Doug because he is special.

Yes, all of the people on the show are terrible. It is part of why I enjoy it. I can pretend I know them because they are not different from many of the people I do know.
